High-tech architecture

High-tech architecture is a style of building design that uses modern technology and materials. It is known for its use of steel, glass and other industrial materials, and its focus on functionality and efficiency.

High-tech buildings often feature exposed mechanical systems, such as pipes and ducts, and are designed to be flexible and adaptable to changing technology. Examples of high-tech buildings include the HSBC Main Building in Hong Kong and the Lloyd's building in London. The style is also sometimes called "high-tech" or "structural expressionism" architecture.
