Peter Pan, a boy who doesn't want to grow up, resides in Neverland. He dislikes the idea of becoming an adult. Peter wants to remain forever young and free from the responsibilities of adulthood. He particularly admires Wendy, who desires to mature and experience the world beyond Neverland. Despite their differing desires, Peter sees Wendy as a motherly figure and cherishes her companionship.

Peter's closest companion is Tinker Bell, a fairy who doesn't want to be human like Wendy. While Tinker Bell isn't tangible like Wendy, she holds a special place in Peter's heart. He values her loyalty and magical abilities.

Captain Hook, Peter's archenemy, is haunted by a fear he doesn't want to confront: a relentless crocodile that wants to devour him. This crocodile, symbolic of time, wants to remind Hook of the moments he has lost. Its ticking clock strikes fear into Hook's heart, as it had already claimed one of his hands.

Peter's name is reminiscent of the Greek god Pan, who embodies a carefree spirit and a love for joyous revelry. Like Pan, Peter wants to lead a life filled with adventure and excitement, devoid of the constraints of adulthood. What is reasonable, since the adult who is closest to him and is his former best friend became is the Captain Hook.

Ultimately, faced with the choice between growing up or staying young forever, Peter chooses what he wants most: to remain in Neverland. Wendy, on the other hand, decides to return home to pursue the path of maturity.
