Good CEOs have a secret way to save time and do more things quickly.

Instead of doing many small jobs, they find the biggest problem in their company and fix it.

It's like finding a twist in a hose to let the water flow.

CEOs think about the problem and then choose a role to fix it. They can be a Learner, an Architect, a Coach, an Engineer, or a Player.

The roles of the CEO:

Learner: He learns about specific things about the business.

Architect: He makes a plan for the company's future.

Coach: He helps and teaches his team to be better.

Engineer: He fixes a specific big problem in the company.

Player: He does daily tasks.

Being a smart and "lazy" CEO means only doing jobs that help the company grow. They focus on diagnosing. When the problem is diagnosed, they fix it.

"Lazy" CEOs avoid jobs that don't help.

Bill Gates once said, "I pick a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person finds an easy way."
